Job Title: SEN Teacher

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team in South East England, Surrey, Croydon.

Job Type:

This is a permanent, full-time position with the option to become permanent at a later date.

Salary:

£150 - £220 per day, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Job Duties:

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with students with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in SEN education.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a specialism or additional qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.Experience:

A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role with SEN students.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies for SEN students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Preferred Qualifications:

A postgraduate qualification in SEN or a related field.

Experience working with students across different age groups.

Working Conditions:

This role will involve working primarily in a classroom setting with occasional participation in meetings outside of regular hours.

Collaboration with other professionals in a team-oriented environment is essential.
