We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Transmission team at SP Transmission PLC. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of major construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of multiple contractors and subcontractors on site.
- Monitor and control the project budget, ensuring that costs are minimized and value for money is achieved.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other site personnel.
- Provide technical support and advice to site personnel, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the transmission sector.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
- SMSTS or equivalent safety training.
- Clean driving license.
