Position Overview

As a Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Group Corporate Communications strategy. You will report directly to the Senior Communications Manager and will be an integral part of our dynamic team.

Your primary responsibility will be to craft and implement a comprehensive communications strategy for Frasers Group, collaborating closely with the Senior Communications Manager to formulate key messages for external communications and effectively manage corporate announcements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the creation and dissemination of press releases and public statements
  • Proactively handling inquiries from business and retail media
  • Collaborating with the communications team to manage significant business events, including financial disclosures
  • Assisting in the oversight of the Group's Communications Calendar and identifying new opportunities for the executive team
  • Working in partnership with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow throughout the organization
  • Coordinating with the Human Resources team to align internal and external communication strategies
  • Developing long-term communication plans in conjunction with external corporate communications advisors
  • Supervising and mentoring the Press Officer and Group Communications Assistant
  • Analyzing and reporting on social, economic, and political trends
  • Leveraging an established network of journalists and industry contacts

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Public Relations and Communications
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a focus on the broader business image
  • Experience in a large retail organization is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Proven track record in supporting corporate communications and financial reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail in written English
  • Comprehensive understanding of PR channels, media outlets, and broadcasting networks
  • Excellent organizational abilities, time management skills, and the capacity to prioritize and multitask
  • A business-oriented mindset with insights into retail, corporate branding, and communications
