The Head of Commercial Finance will be instrumental in propelling revenue growth by collaborating with the go-to-market teams and the broader leadership across Onfido. This role involves leading a team of finance professionals and reporting directly to the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Commercial Finance. This position operates in a hybrid model.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee revenue forecasting by analyzing customer usage patterns and collaborating with market leaders on bookings and renewals. Assess and review Enterprise agreements, concentrating on pricing, commercial conditions, and profitability. Offer insights to enhance deal structures and terms. Work alongside go-to-market teams to formulate commercial agreements. Design and execute pricing strategies to bolster growth and profitability by adjusting rate cards, developing pricing for new offerings, and analyzing alternative pricing structures. Prepare and deliver financial reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data to facilitate strategic decision-making. Collaborate with operations to align capacity planning with business requirements. Monitor and evaluate gross margin performance across various products, identifying opportunities for improvement through cost optimization and pricing strategies.Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing finance team. Background in a scaling or high-growth technology environment. Strong critical and strategic thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels, including executives. Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). Understanding of consumption or usage-based pricing models. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. About Us:
