Job Summary

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at Primark. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring our stores are well-stocked and visually appealing, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets our high standards of presentation.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Receive, unpack, and check new deliveries, ensuring they are correctly priced and meet our quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, maintain a positive and productive store environment, and support the implementation of visual merchandising plans.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, as required.
