Solar PV Field Service Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Field Service Engineer to maintain the operation and production of solar parks. As a key member of our team, you will ensure timely and planned operations are delivered to the highest standards, along with fault finding and reporting to Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the operation and production of solar parks, ensuring timely and planned operations are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Conduct electrical inspections of the plant, including DC and LV/HV sides of the production.
  • Test and resolve electrical systems, producing electrical certificates, and manage ancillary items such as CCTV, communication centres, and weather stations.
  • Perform mechanical checks and maintenance to the structure and buildings within the site, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning correctly.
  • Manage stock and requisitions with the assistance of Head Office.
  • Attend regular meetings with senior management at Head Office.
  • Work according to the company Integrated Management System to help achieve Quality, H&S, and Environmental objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing preferred.
  • Full and clean UK driving licence.

We offer a competitive salary of £31,000 - £36,000 per annum, a vehicle and fuel card, and continuous support and training along with investment to assist in development.
