Job Title: Field Based Engineer

Join our team as a Field Based Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires a combination of technical expertise and problem-solving skills. As a Field Based Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the operation and production of solar parks, ensuring timely and planned operations are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical inspection of the plant, including DC and LV/HV sides of the production.
  • Testing and resolution of the electrical systems, producing electrical certificates, together with ancillary items such as CCTV, communication centres and weather stations.
  • Mechanical checks and maintenance to the structure and buildings within the site, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning correctly.
  • Grounds Maintenance, checking fencing and perimeter security systems, vegetation growth, ensuring the site is always well presented.
  • Managing stock and requisitions with the assistance of Head Office.
  • Attend regular meetings with senior management at Head Office.
Requirements:
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing preferred.
  • Full and clean UK driving Licence.

Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 per annum
