Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Solar PV Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our utility scale ground mounted solar farms in the UK and Europe. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and production of our solar parks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the operation and production of solar parks to the highest standards.
  • Regular reporting to the Senior Engineer and working to tight schedules, with regular travel and some overnight stays.
  • Ensure timely and planned operations are delivered, together with fault finding and reporting to Head Office.
  • Electrical inspection of the plant, including DC and LV/HV sides of the production.
  • Testing and resolution of electrical systems, producing electrical certificates, and ancillary items such as CCTV, communication centres, and weather stations.
  • Mechanical checks and maintenance to the structure and buildings within the site, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning correctly.
  • Grounds Maintenance, checking fencing and perimeter security systems, vegetation growth, ensuring the site is always well presented.
  • Managing stock and requisitions with the assistance of Head Office.
  • Attend regular meetings with senior management at Head Office.

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing preferred.
  • Full and clean UK driving Licence.
