Principal Civil/Structural Engineer

Fully remote opportunity with Conrad Consulting Ltd.

Salary: £65k-£70k plus benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional site/office attendance)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering nuclear design work, inspections, and construction site support on projects for public and private sector clients in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise on specific projects.
  • Delivery of nuclear design work, inspections, and construction site support.
  • Concept and feasibility studies for multi-discipline design projects.
  • Analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla and Robot.
  • Prepare calculations, CDM activities, basis of design, material specifications, scopes of work, technical reports, and inter-discipline design coordination.
  • Manage project delivery and people management of senior CS&A engineers and CS&A engineers.
  • Significant experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
