Job Title: Principal Civil and Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at Access Talent Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of highway bridge maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Support with work winning, project management activities, and client-facing tasks to ensure project delivery remains on plan.
  • Develop and implement study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables and provide input to the development of engineering budgets and schedules.
  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings and lead high-quality structures/bridge technical design on projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with bridge and related structural inspection, assessment, and design schemes.
  • Ability to manage staff and project Health and Safety responsibilities, including compliance with CDM legislation.
  • Experience working with clients of national and local authorities, as well as major contractors.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
