Job Title: SEN Outreach Tutor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Outreach Tutor to provide Maths and English support to students with ADHD, ASD, and Autism. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with students who are not currently accessing mainstream education, assessing their current ability and reintroducing education into their routine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Maths and English support to students with SEND on a 1:1 basis
  • Assess students' current ability and develop a personalized education plan
  • Work with students in a local library or their home environment
  • Collaborate with SEND teams and Local Councils to ensure a smooth transition for students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with students with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and work outside the box
