About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Mental Health Inpatient Services at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose when and where you work, making it an ideal opportunity for those seeking a more flexible work-life balance.
Main Responsibilities
As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our inpatient mental health services. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care needs, as well as working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disability qualification
- Completion of Band 5 preceptorship programme
- On-going registration with the NMC
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
- Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate an understanding and knowledge base of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centred care. You should also have a working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Care Programme Approach, as well as experience of working with patients who have physical health conditions and their complications.
