Job Title: Pastoral Tutor

Kingston College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Tutor to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a hard-working and collaborative individual who can help our students succeed. As a Pastoral Tutor, you will be responsible for tracking and monitoring the progress of a specific group of our Further Education learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with learners to discuss their progress and set goals.
  • Deliver College group tutorial programmes to support learner development.
  • Liaise with members of staff and parents/guardians regarding learner progress.
  • Signpost learners to wider support as needed.
  • Participate in the College Safeguarding team to support a caseload of students.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with experience in delivering student workshops or tutorials to a diverse range of students and in supporting student progress on a 1:1 basis. Experience in youth and community work and a clear understanding of the needs of students and how these may be met are also desired.
