Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join our Engineering team in Kings Lynn. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for managing a team of over 30 people and driving improvements in product quality, reducing waste, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing unit, identifying and implementing improvements in working practices using modern manufacturing philosophies.
- Manage cost, quality, and output, working closely with other departments to create efficiencies and improve delivery.
- Produce and maintain a production plan to ensure all sales orders and key stock levels are serviced, with lead times maintained or improved.
- Ensure stock replenishment and kanban systems reflect production capabilities.
We are looking for a candidate with a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Production Engineering, with proven experience in a manufacturing environment at senior level. You will need to demonstrate experience in effectively leading teams and implementing systems such as LEAN, Kanban, Faxban, Six Sigma, and Kaizan. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to provide regular information to SMT through daily and weekly reporting.
