About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaning Assistant to join our team at One Retail. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full to prevent any unpleasant odors or health hazards.
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures.
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Passionate about patient care and able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware of the potential for coming into contact with patients who are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress.
  • A willingness to learn and go the extra mile for our patients, taking pride in your work and being committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
  • Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs met by the employer.
