About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elevator Tester to join our team. As an Elevator Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that all new elevator installations within our construction portfolio are fully tested and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of elevator systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with elevator systems
  • Provide technical support to other field test engineers and installation engineers
  • Train new field test engineers and installation engineers in adjusting and commissioning elevator systems
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve quality control and efficiency

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in elevator testing and inspection
  • Demonstrable knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
  • Demonstrable experience of elevator codes and standards applicable to the elevator industry
  • National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience
  • IT literacy with Microsoft experience
