Job Title: Elevator Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Tester to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all new lift installations within our construction portfolio are fully tested and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing and inspection of elevator systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to other Field Test Engineers across the business and train new Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers in adjusting and commissioning units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and quality control measures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure excellent service delivery.
Requirements:
  • National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in elevator and/or escalator testing, with demonstrable knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  • Demonstrable experience of elevator codes and standards applicable to the elevator and escalator industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
