About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a dynamic and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the classroom, providing 1:1 or small group support to students with SEND.
  • Behaviour Management: Monitor and manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Student Engagement: Engage and motivate students in their learning journey, encouraging participation and progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEND is preferred, but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine passion for education and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment are essential.
  • Behaviour Management: The ability to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive relationships with students is crucial.
