Are you passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience in a school setting? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant.

No prior professional experience is required, but candidates with personal or childcare experience will be given preference. The right character is essential to positively impact student development.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with students with various special educational needs diagnoses, including Autism, SEMH, Learning Difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be to assist with daily classroom activities and provide 1:1 support to create a positive learning environment.

The Role
  • Provide classroom, 1:1, or small group support to students.
  • Monitor and manage student behaviour.
  • Engage students in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Support students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A passion for education and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • The ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour.
