Senior Contract Engineer

Centre People Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Engineer to join their team in Aberdeen. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the tendering and contract execution processes for tubular related steel products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop winning strategies to secure project tenders, including price, cost, and supply chain selection
  • Conduct full contract review and manage tender negotiation process
  • Secure project orders or follow up losses and report back reasoning
  • Deliver successful contracts, including project documentation, logistics management, and supply chain contract management
  • Close out and ensure that contracts are concluded within budget, on time, and within contract requirements
  • Lead on supply chain projects across multiple regions and suppliers
  • Deliver on company and business unit objectives with clear focus on quality, HSE, and sustainability
  • Conduct tender tactics meetings, contract kick off, and pred-production meetings
  • Some global travel required for internal and external meetings
Requirements:
  • Degree, MSC, or extensive experience in Energy tendering and contract execution (essential)
  • Project or contract management qualification (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, and MS Teams ideally to an intermediate level
  • Good working knowledge of Sales Force or other similar CRM and CPQ software
  • Able to travel around the globe

Centre People Appointments is an international trading and investment company. We offer a competitive salary, up to £77k depending on experience, plus good benefits. The role is permanent, full-time, and based in Aberdeen with a hybrid style, 2 days a week in the office.
