This role involves overseeing the project from inception to completion on a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and designers on-site
- Play a pivotal role in negotiations to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Conduct comprehensive site evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations throughout the project
- Identify and assess risks and opportunities
- Act as the primary point of communication for all key stakeholders
- Manage the issuance of all necessary legal documentation
- Assist refurbishment teams in procuring essential assets
Qualifications:
- Formal qualifications in building surveying or construction management
- Current experience as a Construction Project Manager or a well-developed Assistant Project Manager
- Proven track record in managing large construction projects with budgets around £2 million
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, CDM regulations, and local planning laws
- Experience engaging with both external and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving
- Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, alongside a bonus and benefits package.
