Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:
Matchtech is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead the pre-construction development phase of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and vocational background in construction, with experience in early-stage project management, preferably in technical areas such as engineering, aerospace, or lab facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret site customer requirements and prepare design requirements, specifications, and implementation plans
Co-ordinate and manage project teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver project design and construction activities
Resolve design, construction, and SHE issues through the project lifecycle
Manage prequalification, selection, and tendering activities for construction activities
Monitor and manage implementation progress against agreed design, programme, and quality plans
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company and departmental quality procedures
Responsible for Health & Safety aspects throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:
Degree qualified in Construction, Building Services, and/or Facilities Management
Excellent understanding of the RIBA plan of work and robust process implementation
Extensive experience of construction project installations
Proven experience of managing contractors on major construction projects
Excellent supplier management and communication skills
Flexibility to work at customer locations, consultancy offices, and travel between required locations

Desirable:
Project Management qualification
International Construction experience

Security Clearance:
The successful candidate will require full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite.
