Job Title: Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all project phases, following the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Work, and ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company and departmental quality procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Interpret customer requirements, support design preparation, implement plans, and obtain specification approvals and financial business cases.
  • Procure and manage multi-discipline professional consultant teams for facility development, including new buildings, major refurbishments, and large-scale utility infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure safe management and coordination of onsite contractor activities, adhering to company, statutory health & safety legislation, building control, and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the built environment, including construction project management, civil engineering, structural engineering, fire engineering, architecture, mechanical, electrical, utilities, and/or building services engineering.
  • Degree or HNC/D qualified in Construction or Building Services, or equivalent experience in ensuring construction Health & Safety (NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, specific safety topic training).
