Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team on an ad-hoc basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our Pharmacy Manager to provide in-house pharmacy services, including dispensing, procurement, and stock management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients
  • Assist with dispensing and stock management
  • Carry out procurement and distribution of pharmacy items
  • Assist with clinical ward work and checking (if trained)

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Society
  • Experience working in a hospital pharmacy
  • Good IT skills, literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation
  • Accredited Checking Technician qualification (desirable)
