Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nurse Home Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents in a nursing home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example and promote a culture of person-centered care, ensuring that residents receive tailored support and care that meets their individual needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in health and social care to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and promote best practice in all aspects of care delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote resident involvement and engagement in decision-making processes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, residents, relatives, and visitors.
- Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the economic viability of the service, maximizing income and monitoring expenditure.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of staff, ensuring compliance with HR and L&D policies.
- Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring continuity of care and support services.
- Contribute to special projects and change initiatives that support the organization's objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a nursing setting, with strong operational management skills.
- Understanding of relevant legislative requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to clients with diverse needs.
