**Job Summary**

Wood is currently recruiting for a highly experienced Instrumentation Designer to provide support to our Client in the execution of projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar sectors.

The successful candidate will join a multi-discipline engineering team, supporting Tullow Oil on a hybrid basis in a collaborative environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Contribute to engineering excellence by providing the link between engineering design theory and practical application.
  • Translate critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end-products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Interpret key documents, including engineering standards, material specifications, P&IDs, and Line Lists.
  • Utilize CAD/D software to create accurate designs and models.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum ISCED level 5 short-cycle tertiary education in an engineering discipline.
  • Valid Offshore Certs and willingness to work offshore.
  • Strong understanding of materials and methods used in instrumentation design.
  • Ability to interpret and apply related engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficient user of CAD/D software.
