Lead Instrumentation Designer

Wood is currently seeking a highly experienced Lead Instrumentation Designer to support our Client in the execution of projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or similar sector of the industry.

The successful candidate will join a multi-discipline engineering team, supporting Tullow Oil on a hybrid basis in the Glasgow Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to engineering excellence by providing the link between engineering design theory and practical application.
  • Translate critical design concepts into workable plans for tangible end-products.
  • Interpret key documents, including engineering standards, material specifications, P&IDs, and Line Lists.
  • Utilize CAD/D software to create and edit designs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ISCED level 5 short-cycle tertiary education in an engineering discipline.
  • Valid Offshore Certs and willingness to go offshore.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can provide expert-level support to our Client.
