About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at Siemens Gamesa, a global leader in the renewable energy industry. As a key member of our global Blades Manufacturing Support Tooling team, you will play a critical role in defining, validating, and implementing competitive tooling and machinery for our blade factories worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tooling Development: Define and create specifications for needed tools and machinery, ensuring compliance with Siemens Gamesa's global standards and procedures.
  • Procurement and Commissioning: Oversee the procurement process, commissioning, and validation of equipment, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Equipment Handover and Support: Ensure smooth handover of equipment to blade manufacturing plants and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Installation and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with global teams to ensure the installation of new machinery in factories adheres to Siemens Gamesa's global standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Previous experience in industrial maintenance, industrial manufacturing, or renewable energy, with a focus on tooling development.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing and tooling development, with experience in leading technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Personal Qualities: Structured mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
