Lead the Nuclear Medicine Therapy Team

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our Nuclear Medicine team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe running and management of Nuclear Medicine Therapy, taking into consideration the holistic needs of the patient and staffing skill mix.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage the storage and disposal of waste in accordance with EPR(16) regulations.
  2. Ensure accurate capture of data from the treatment of patients for Radiation Protection, Trending, and Business Information.
  3. Coordinate with the Radiopharmacy manager to support Radiopharmaceutical production.
  4. Provide training to staff within or outside of the department.

Requirements
  • Relevant scientific BSc or equivalent.
  • HCPC Radiographer registration or RCT registration for Nuclear Medicine or Radiotherapy.
  • Leadership Training.
Experience
  • Extensive senior work experience in Nuclear Medicine or Radiotherapy.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
