About the Role

The Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Rehabilitation team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Rehabilitation team, including responding to correspondence, managing files, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the coordination of patient information, including gathering and processing data, and ensuring timely follow-up actions.
  • Process urgent referrals and arrange outpatient appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of administrative processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Broad general education to GCSE or NVQ 2 or equivalent.
  • Evidence of working successfully with people, including customer care and communication skills.
  • Evidence of clerical and administration work, including typing and filing.
