Nexus Care Services is a leading provider of exceptional care to Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas.

As a Morning Carer at Nexus Care Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support and assistance to our clients during the early hours of the day (7am until 12pm). You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need while working in a friendly and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and ensure clients take prescribed doses on time.
  • Nutrition and Hydration: Prepare and serve nutritious breakfasts according to dietary requirements.
  • Household Support: Assist with light household chores, such as tidying up and laundry.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
  • Mobility and Transportation: Assist clients with mobility and accompany them to medical appointments or social outings.
  • Record Keeping: Document client care activities accurately and maintain clear and concise records.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion towards others.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation to travel between client locations.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work mornings, including weekends and public holidays as needed.
  • Certification: Completion of relevant certification or training in healthcare or caregiving is advantageous.
