Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our Materials Analysis business as a trusted advisor and business partner to the management team. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in handling the day-to-day legal affairs of the business, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, processes, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management
    • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts, including sales contracts, agency and distributor agreements, collaboration and license agreements.
    • Assisting the Sales team with negotiations with customers on sales contracts, reviewing public procurement tender documents, conducting risk assessments on contracts, and ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensuring the business complies with applicable laws, processes, and procedures.
    • Offering guidance to the Materials Analysis team on a range of contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters, including dispute resolution.
  • Template Development and Process Improvement
    • Developing and maintaining template documents to streamline processes.
    • Enhancing contract management procedures and supporting the Group Legal team with various legal matters.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience
    • 2-5 years PQE Qualified.
    • Experience in a similar role, within an in-house legal role.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge within international law and jurisdictions.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships with numerous stakeholders.
