About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at END. as a Gross Profit and Inventory Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced and forward-thinking company, delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and develop reporting relating to Sales and Gross Margin in the business for daily, weekly, and period Management Information (MI).
  • Period-End Close Process: Perform the period-end close process relating to gross profit and stock-related balance sheet accounts across the main trading and group entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the business and wider stakeholders.
  • Management Information Pack: Produce the relevant sections of the Management Information pack, including provision of meaningful narrative as well as accurate numbers.
  • Team Support: Provide support and coaching to other members of the Management Information team during busy periods.
  • Process Improvement: Implement processes and process improvements across areas relating to inventory and gross profit.
  • Project Support: Support project implementation across wider business areas, giving consideration to accounting and reporting implications of changes brought about by these projects.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepare ad hoc reporting on areas related to stock and gross profit, providing support on other areas as needed.
  • Year-End Audit: Support with the Year-End audit process relating to stock counts and related areas of the financial statements.
Requirements
  • Accounting Qualification: Recently qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with people of all levels within the business.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (confident proficiency with LOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables as a minimum).
  • Organizational Skills: Highly-organized with an ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining high quality output.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to apply common sense and logic.
  • Flexibility: Flexible and willing to take a hands-on approach.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with ERP environment desirable.
