We have an exciting opportunity to join our Integrated Delivery Services team as a Performance Reporting Analyst, working with your colleagues to deliver up to date and accurate performance data along with being responsible for collecting and analysing numerical information and presenting in a timely manner to the operational teams and wider business audiences.
You’ll be preparing daily, weekly and monthly standard performance reports and using industry best practice knowledge to report on findings and recommendations.
We’re also looking for you to configure and populate web-based dashboards, including Power BI, to allow the leadership team to manage performance, along with accurate manipulation of data from disparate data sources.
We will be looking to you to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies, and make sure “what if?“ scenario modelling and impact analyses are completed. You’ll be adhering to and promoting company policies for data security anonymising where appropriate, simplifying complex data and discussing with senior stakeholders.
You’ll be demonstrating assured data validation across all key metrics e.g., schedule, risk, and financial reporting, along with the standardisation and streamlining to improve efficiencies in reporting, including improvement of tools and techniques. We’re also looking for you to ensure the development and reporting of appropriate MI and insights needed to inform business decision making.
About you
We are looking for you to have experience in a reporting and analytics environment, with experience confidently presenting and discussing key insights, performance and trends. You will also have experience of process and system development and configuration with respect to data collection and management.
You will be an effective communicator and have a commercial mind set, be quick to recognise and respond to dealing with a "business situation" (risks and opportunities) in a manner that is likely to lead to a good outcome.
You’ll be skilled in creating performance MI, along with interrogating multi-channel data sources to demonstrate contributing factors to performance across multiple channels and multiple sites.
You will be able to learn new methods of collating and analysing data, with the ability to create new reports and amend existing data/reports. Proven experience of Microsoft Office packages, along with advanced skills in Excel, Power BI (including DAX and Power Query) and SharePoint are essential to this role. An understanding of SQL, Visual Basic and Power Automate would also be desirable.
