Compensation Package:
- Position: Senior Residential Support Worker - Children's Services
- Location: Bedlington, NE22
- Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
- Working Hours: Full-time long day shifts with sleep-in duties
- Requirement: Valid UK Driving licence is essential

Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to encourage and assist the young individuals in our care to lead a life of positive growth by providing a secure and nurturing environment.
- Ensure that daily operations are managed professionally and competently, supporting the Service Manager in delivering high-quality care.
- Guide a team alongside other professionals to provide the therapeutic care and support tailored to each child's needs.
- Document events and observations, prepare progress reports, and implement care plans.
- Serve as a positive role model for colleagues and children, fostering trusting relationships that promote recovery, growth, and lasting change.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience or knowledge of child-centered, therapeutic approaches.
- A minimum of 12 months of experience and a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare.
- Excellent communication skills, naturally compassionate, adaptable, and resilient.
- High energy levels, composed under pressure, and capable of managing challenging situations.
- Willingness to work shifts and undertake sleep-in duties while caring for the children.
