We are in search of a dedicated Registered Manager who is passionate about improving the quality of life for those we support. This role is crucial in leading our residential service in Edlington, where we provide a nurturing environment for up to 15 individuals. Our team is dynamic and committed to fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
The Registered Manager will collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and the families of those we support, while also leading a team to promote independence and positive outcomes in daily living.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the service.
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans.
- Conducting assessments of care needs.
- Recruiting and onboarding new staff.
- Completing supervisions and appraisals.
- Managing medication competencies and audits.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Conducting quarterly audits and reports.
- Effectively managing the service's profit and loss.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and contractual obligations.

This role also involves participation in the on-call rota, which may be adjusted based on service needs.

We value both experience and the right ethos in our Registered Manager. Candidates should possess prior experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management capacity, be prepared to undertake CQC registration, hold a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care, and have experience managing a large team while supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
