We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Manager to oversee our residential facility in Edlington, Doncaster, which accommodates up to 15 individuals. This role is essential in fostering a supportive and friendly atmosphere, working with a dynamic team to enhance the lives of those we serve.
The Service Manager will collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to promote independence and positive outcomes for our residents. Responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations of the service.
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans.
- Conducting assessments of care needs.
- Recruiting and onboarding new staff.
- Completing supervisions and appraisals.
- Overseeing medication competencies and audits.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings.
- Conducting quarterly audits and reports.
- Effectively managing the service's budget.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and proactive leader, passionate about the care sector and committed to delivering exceptional support. You will also participate in an on-call rota as required.

We are looking for a Service Manager with the right experience and values. Candidates should have prior experience as a CQC registered manager or in a care management role, be prepared to undertake CQC registration, and possess a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care. Experience in managing a large team and supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors is essential.
