NOC Team Leader Job Description

ECS Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced NOC Team Leader to join our team. As a NOC Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of NOC engineers and ensuring the smooth operation of our Network Operations Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of NOC engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality support to our clients.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the NOC.
  • Collaborate with the NOC Manager to ensure the department is running to its maximum potential.
  • Champion improvements within the support function and drive the department forward to grow with the business.
  • Ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing/ supervising a small team.
  • Strong performance management skills including coaching.
  • Experience in a technical environment, ideally in IT or Telecommunications.
  • Call and ticket related data analysis and acting accordingly to ensure peak performance.
  • Experience implementing Continual Service Improvement within a support function.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks.
  • Confident and excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach when faced with problems or challenges.
  • Experience in dealing with major incidents, including root cause analysis/resolution, SWAT calls & customer liaison.
  • Ideally hold CCNA/CompTIA Network+ certification.
  • ITIL Foundation Qualification or above (desirable but not essential).

Shift Patterns:

The shifts will be a 4-on-4-off rotation pattern, working 07:00 to 19:00 and rotation 19:00 to 07:00.
