Senior Document Controller

Keltbray Infrastructure Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Document Controller to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with project teams to ensure they have a clear understanding of document control procedures and provide training and guidance as required.
- Identify and implement contractual requirements related to document control.
- Continuously improve and enhance document control procedures and systems.
- Contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of the Information Management Plan to meet relevant standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Provide feedback to the Design Manager on documentation issues.
- Manage document systems (SharePoint, Autodesk BIM 360 Field, BIM 360 Docs) to ensure efficient storage and access to documentation.
- Collect and register technical documents, such as drawings and blueprints, in the Keltbray system.
- Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control.
- Keep team members informed of new document versions and access procedures.
- Ensure documentation is issued and maintained in a controlled and accessible manner.
- Issue document numbers to relevant parties in accordance with project requirements.
- Quality check incoming documents in line with the document control procedure.
- Ensure documentation contains relevant metadata for traceability, retrieval, and audit purposes.
- Support the review and approval process, including collation, distribution, and close-out of comments.
- Support implementation of other relevant procedures (e.g. TQ/RFI Database).
