About the Role

We are seeking a strategic HR professional to lead the People Strategy for a Business Unit within a large, well-established retail company. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, maintaining and enhancing human resources policies, and overseeing employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
  • Lead HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure a cohesive approach to HR across the company
  • Conduct regular reviews of HR policies and implement changes as required
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and company regulations regarding employment

Requirements

  • Degree level education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar senior HR role within the retail industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
