About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at Mayfield View, a beautiful care home in a fantastic location. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents enjoy high-quality meals tailored to their needs.

Your duties will include:

  • Promoting healthy nutrition and hydration among our residents.
  • Providing excellent quality food that meets residents' individual needs and preferences.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by conforming to our policies and procedures.
  • Keeping kitchens and dining areas clean to meet relevant legislation and company policy.
  • Providing a high standard of service, promoting dignity, privacy, and choice for our residents.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual with experience in the catering field. You should be able to solve problems and motivate your team to deliver high-quality food and drink. A meticulous attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and quality is essential.

You should be friendly, approachable, and have excellent communication skills. A kind and caring attitude, with a passion for people and great conversation skills, is also required.
