Ginger Recruitment Services Limited is seeking a skilled and ambitious Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for executing daily tasks related to the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring each dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Menu Preparation and Execution: Collaborate with the Executive Chef and team to contribute suggestions to seasonal menu items that reflect the company's commitment to quality and local sourcing.
- Kitchen Management: Take charge of a particular section of the kitchen, managing all aspects from mise en place to cooking and presentation, while maintaining strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining kitchen inventory by ensuring supplies are adequately stocked and stored properly when used.
- Team Development: Contribute to the training and development of junior kitchen staff where required.
Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: Prior experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar environment, demonstrating capability and familiarity with high-quality culinary operations.
- Culinary Skills: A strong desire to refine your culinary skills and broaden your knowledge of different cuisines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team, showing enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit in a busy kitchen setting.
