About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Manager to join our team at Elvie. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Cash Flow Activities: Oversee all direct cash flow activities, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations and reporting.
  • Cash Collection and Credit Policy: Proactively drive cash collection by building relationships with key customers, while overseeing our credit policy and seeking approval for credit terms as necessary.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize reporting and benefit from our new P2P system to prepare aged AR and AP reporting for senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Bank Process Management: Support the day-to-day management of our bank processes, including utilizing any banking facilities in place.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Responsible for key balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships across the business to ensure that queries are proactively managed to resolution.
  • P2P System Administration: Day-to-day administration of the P2P system, including setting up new raisers and approvers, and setting up limits in line with the authority matrix.
  • Year-End Audit Support: Support in providing deliverables in line with year-end audit requirements.
  • Expense Policy Review: Support in reviewing and launching new expense policies in line with business needs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across P2P, O2C, and banking.
Requirements
  • P2P and O2C Expertise: Expertise in P2P and O2C processes, including experience with Tipalti.
  • Banking and ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with banking portals and ERP platforms, including NetSuite.
  • Accounting Skills: Solid accounting skills and experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, AR, and AP.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
