About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Voice Core Authority to join our team at Vodafone. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing authority and expertise in the technical support of our Vodafone network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to our team on the maintenance and troubleshooting of our Core Operations infrastructure.
  • Ensure the delivery of solutions at the required level of availability and performance through proactive assurance and end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with our incident management team to resolve incidents and provide out-of-hours standby cover and callout support.
  • Communicate major problems to management, team members, and the user community and product owner.
  • Assist with root cause analysis to identify corrective actions and permanent fixes.

Requirements

  • Experience with Ericsson technology and call flows.
  • Excellent knowledge of IMS, HLR, CUDB, HSS-FE, EIR, SS7, Sigtran, SIP, and RTP.
  • Experience of investigating E2E service issues and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience of using network statistics (KPIs), network traces, and logs to analyze and improve network performance.
  • Excellent knowledge of 2G, 4G, VoLTE (IMS), and 5G technologies.
  • Good working knowledge of NFVi, preferably VMware, and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL, LDAP, REST, and SOAP.
