Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Porter to join our team at Flitwick Manor Hotel, Premier Collection By Best Western. As a Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift, providing exceptional guest service, and maintaining the highest standards of security and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Manage guest requests, respond to queries, and provide assistance as needed to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain the security and safety of the hotel, its guests, and staff, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Hotel Operations: Perform regular security checks, monitor CCTV systems, and respond to any security incidents.
  • Front Desk: Check guests in and out, handle room assignments, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Hotel Maintenance: Assist with maintenance tasks, report any issues or damage to management, and ensure the hotel's facilities are well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment, preferably in a night porter role.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of safety and security procedures.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
