Night Porter

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Night Porter to join our team at Flitwick Manor Hotel, Premier Collection By Best Western. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift, managing guest requests, and providing general support to the hotel staff.

• Guest Services: Manage guest requests and ensure they are handled promptly and professionally.
• Security and Safety: Maintain security and safety procedures during the night shift, perform regular security checks throughout the hotel, and handle any emergency situations that may arise.
• Hotel Operations: Provide general support to the hotel staff during the night shift, assist with any maintenance or housekeeping tasks that may arise, and set up meeting rooms and other areas as required.
• Front Desk: Check guests in and out of the hotel as required, and serve food and beverages to guests as required.
• Reporting: Prepare reports for senior management as required.

• Previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment, preferably in a night porter role.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A good understanding of safety and security procedures.
• The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
