Senior Recreation Assistant

As a Senior Recreation Assistant at Leisure Focus, you will play a pivotal role in the operations of our leisure centres. You will be responsible for managing and inspiring a large team of recreational assistants, ensuring our customers have the best customer journey from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the lifeguard team and regular pool rotations
- Comply with H&S procedures and standards of the centre
- Supervise and clean the pool area
- Set up equipment
- Deliver first-class customer service
- Deal with customer queries
- Support the team on a daily basis, preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls for various activities, and maintaining the general cleaning and upkeep of the centre
- Desirable: recognised qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development, or related subject, or knowledge and skills in the Leisure or a related industry in a small/medium-sized enterprise
- Current NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or previously held one and willing to achieve the qualification
