Job Title: English Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic physiotherapist or exercise physiologist to contribute to the delivery of cardiac rehabilitation care in a variety of settings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the advanced practitioner to deliver a high-quality clinical service in the East Integrated Health Community.
  • Assess and manage complex patients, providing clinical leadership and day-to-day management of the service.
  • Support the on-going education and development of the team to ensure a high-quality, evidence-based service.
Requirements:
  • Degree in an appropriate area, e.g. physiotherapy, exercise physiology, sport and exercise science.
  • Evidence of study at postgraduate diploma level (Level 6) in a relevant area.
  • Able to demonstrate continuing professional development appropriate to the clinical area.
Key Skills:
  • Significant experience working in a clinical exercise role with a cardiac population.
  • Management/Leadership skills and knowledge, evidenced through recent and effective change management or development of a team.
  • Broad knowledge of health legislation/policy.
Working Arrangements:

Flexible working hours between Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm, dependent upon travel and needs of the service.

Base: either Wrexham Maelor Hospital or Connah's Quay Health Centre, with travel across Wrexham and Flintshire.
