Your primary responsibility will be to craft and execute our Group Corporate Communications strategy. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you will be based at our headquarters.

You will implement a robust communications strategy for Frasers Group, collaborating with our Senior Communications Manager to formulate messaging for external communications and effectively support corporate announcements. In addition, you will:

  • Lead and assist in the creation and dissemination of press releases and public statements.
  • Confidently handle inquiries from business and retail media.
  • Work with the communications team to deliver key business milestones.
  • Assist in managing the Group's Communications Calendar and proactively seek opportunities for the executive team.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless information flow across the organization.
  • Partner with the People team to align internal and external communication strategies.
  • Develop long-term communication plans with external corporate communications advisors.
  • Oversee and mentor the Press Officer and Group Communications Assistant.
  • Monitor and analyze social, economic, and political trends.
  • Bring a well-established network of journalists and industry contacts.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Communications and Public Relations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to strategize and consider the broader business image.
  • Experience in a large retail organization is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Have a background in supporting corporate communications and financial reporting.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills with a strong command of written English and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of PR channels, media outlets, and broadcasting networks.
  • Show strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Be a business-oriented individual with an understanding of retail, corporate branding, and communications.
