Our client, a leading organization in the NHS Supply Chain, is seeking a Governance and Compliance Lead to fill a key role due to a retirement.

Job Title: Governance and Compliance Lead - NHS

Reporting Line: Head of Procurement NHS

Location: Flexible, with regular visits to Chertsey/Chester/Normanton and remote working options

Business Area: NHS Supply Chain

Role Purpose:

The Governance and Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance and compliance of the organization, working closely with the Head of Procurement to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement governance and compliance strategies to ensure the organization's operations are in line with regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Provide guidance and support to employees on governance and compliance matters, ensuring a culture of compliance within the organization.
  4. Monitor and report on governance and compliance performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in governance and compliance, with experience in a similar role within the NHS or a related industry. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
